Susan’s Key West Condo Rental Policy

SEASONS: Winter rates apply from December to May.
CERTAIN HOLIDAYS, EVENTS & FESTIVALS HAVE A SURCHARGE.

OCCUPANCY: Rental rates quoted are based on two couples or four people
using the two bedrooms in Susan's Sunset and Ocean View. No more than
two people or one couple are permitted to rent Brucie's Ocean Peek.

DEPOSIT: Rentals require a 50 % payment of rental cost to confirm the reservation. A security / damage deposit will be credit card reserved, but will not be billed if no damage has occurred and the unit is left in a reasonably clean condition. This is a non smoking condo and this must be respected or there will a cleaning / damage fee assessed. Personal items left may, upon request, be returned for a handling fee. Lost key charge for $25 per set of keys.

TERMS: Balance of rent is to be received by Susan Mitchell 30 days prior to arrival. Mail checks to: Susan Mitchell, 191 East State Street, Athens, Ohio 45701

REFUND POLICY: There is a 50% service charge on the deposit if cancellation is prior to 90 days of arrival date. If the reservation is canceled within 90 days of arrival date, the deposit is forfeited.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT POLICY:

Check-in on arrival is: 4:00 PM. Check-out on departure day is: 10:00 AM.

If you remain in the unit after the 10:00 AM check-out time, without prior written approval from Susan Mitchell, you will be billed $100 for day use of the unit.

HURRICANE: In the event tenant must vacate, be evacuated or is prohibited from entering Key West because of a mandatory hurricane evacuation order issued by the city of Key West and Monroe County, tenant will be issued a credit for the unused portion of stay toward a future visit within twelve months subject to availability. There are no other warranties, owner’s liabilities or weather guarantees.
